AuxiliaGroup Recruitment is currently hiring an Executive Officer - Compliance on behalf of our client based in Blanchardstown, Dublin. The Executive Officer - Compliance will work as part of the Corporate Services Team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead on the development of a compliance monitoring plan for the organisation and act as a link with Regulatory Authorities such as the Approved Housing Body, Local Authority, Department of Housing Regulatory Standards and the Charities Regulator.
2. Report to the Executive and CEO on the organisation’s compliance.
3. Attend Management and Board meetings when required.
4. Monitor changes in relevant legislation and the regulatory environment and take appropriate action.
5. Lead on Annual Regulatory Returns to various agencies.
6. Lead on Quarterly HAPM (Housing Association Performance Management) returns.
7. Work with the CEO and Data Protection Officer to ensure compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation across the organisation.
8. Deliver training in compliance procedures and standards to staff as required.
9. Assist the CEO in developing and implementing a HR strategy for the organisation.
10. Support HR initiatives, systems and software implementation.
11. Responsible for HR staff administration, including recruitment, employment contracts, holiday/sick leave and induction.
12. Ensure employee records comply with policy standards and legal requirements.
13. Collaborate with departments assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures, consulting external HR expert when needed.
14. Assist the Risk Officer to manage the process of identifying, managing and mitigating risks across the organisation.
15. Plan, coordinate and provide day to day supervision necessary to run an efficient office.
16. Supervise, coordinate and support the work of the administrator in relation to office facilities management and general administration of head office and sub offices.
17. Undertake a variety of specific projects and other administrative tasks as assigned by the CEO.
Required Qualifications:
1. Five years’ relevant experience, preferably in Social Housing or Voluntary Sector.
2. In-depth knowledge of at least one of the following: Approved Housing Body Regulation, Charities Regulation, Residential Tenancies Acts Compliance, GDPR, Human Resources, Health and Safety.
3. Experience dealing with regulatory bodies.
4. Excellent record keeping and reporting skills.
5. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.

3. Previous experience in a supervisory role.

5. Experience in a growing and changing environment.
6. Full Clean driver’s license.
