What You Bring to the Table:
* Six months minimum experience in catering or high-volume kitchen environments.
* Full-time availability, Monday to Friday.
* Authorization to work in Ireland and successful Garda Vetting.
* Two professional references from the last five years.
* Excellent spoken English.
Your Role:
* Cleaning and sanitizing all meal preparation areas as well as kitchen walls, stoves, sinks, ovens and grills.
* Washing all dishes, ranging from pots and pans to cutting boards, utensils and cooking equipment, either hand washed or loaded into the dishwasher.
* Assisting the Chef with basic food preparation as per Chef’s instructions.
* Sweeping and mopping all kitchen areas during shifts and at end of shifts.
* Cleaning and maintaining all equipment ensuring that food mixers, cookers and other cooking equipment are in good working order.
* Receiving and unpacking all deliveries, ensuring that deliveries are organized once in the kitchen.
* Emptying, re-lining and washing garbage cans as required, ensuring all waste is disposed of promptly.
* Ensuring cleanliness is directly related to a safe cooking environment by effectively cleaning all cookware and cooking surfaces.
