Barden is thrilled to partner with a Global business to identify a Group Insurance Manager to join their team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.
This individual will manage the self-insured group insurance programs and lend their expertise to providing innovative and proactive solutions to meet clients’ needs whilst working in a dynamic, growing organisation.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Strategy Enhancement: Improve management strategies for our clients self-insured program, focusing on claims management, risk assessment, and mitigation while collaborating with various stakeholders.
* Claims Oversight: Evaluate and oversee the claims process for timely, accurate handling, and identify cost-saving opportunities through effective management and intervention.
* Vendor and Compliance Management: Communicate with and manage vendors and brokers, oversee subcontractor onboarding, and ensure insurance compliance.
* Regulatory and Data Analytics: Stay current with regulations, use data analytics to evaluate program performance, identify trends, and report key metrics to senior leadership quarterly.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal stakeholders to identify cost-saving opportunities, improve program efficiency, and align benefit offerings with organizational goals.
* Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of three, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
About the Person:
* Holds a minimum CIP accreditation.
* Demonstrated experience in leading teams and collaborating across departments.
* Proven success in managing extensive programs, including motor and liability insurance.
* Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and trends.
* Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
* Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and benefits management software.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
