Job DescriptionAs Senior Manager, Wholesale & B2B Sales Strategy you will lead impactful projects for our fast-growing International business, working closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to expand our B2B and wholesale footprint through strategic partnerships and targeted growth initiatives. Success in this role requires a knack for breaking down big problems into key questions, a strong passion for taking initiative, learning, and driving recommendations to completion. With a flexible work style, you’ll collaborate across functions and geographies, ready to jump in and help—even in roles outside your expertise—to drive the planning and implementation of key growth projects in a dynamic, creative, and inspiring work environment.This full-time position reports to the VP of International and is located in Dublin, Ireland. This role is expected to work in a hybrid model, which includes three days in-office.To ensure sufficient overlap with functional and cross-functional team members globally, some flexibility with this role's regular work schedule will be required. Most of our teams have overlap with early morning and/or early evening PST. Specific scheduling needs for this role will be discussed in the initial interview. What you’ll do: Strategy Development and Business Growth:Develop and execute a comprehensive, long-term strategy for B2B and wholesale partnerships across international marketsIdentify, evaluate, and pursue strategic partnership opportunities, negotiating complex deals that align with company objectives and profitability goalsConduct thorough market analysis, staying on top of industry trends and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decision-makingCreate and implement go-to-market strategies for new international B2B and wholesale initiativesFinancial Management and Performance Optimization:Develop financial models and business cases for new initiatives, forecasting revenue and profitability for international B2B and wholesale channelsEstablish KPIs and metrics to measure success, analyzing performance data to identify trends and areas for improvementWork with operations teams to ensure efficient execution and continuous improvement of international B2B and wholesale programsCross-functional Leadership and Collaboration:Guide cross functional team members by identifying opportunities for growth, leveraging team strengths, and developing members toward organizational effectivenessCollaborate with senior leadership to align international B2B and wholesale strategies with overall company goalsDevelop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in target companies and marketsProvide regular updates and insights to senior management on the progress and performance of international B2B and wholesale initiativesQualifications:Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred10+ years of experience in business development, strategy, or related fields, with a focus on B2B and wholesale channelsStrong understanding of international markets, particularly in EuropeRetail experience in a relevant industry requiredProven track record of developing and executing successful international growth strategiesAdvanced financial acumen, including:Ability to create and interpret complex financial modelsProficiency in financial analysis and forecasting for B2B and wholesale channelsExperience in budgeting and financial planning for international business operationsOutstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategiesStrong familiarity with data analysis tools and CRM systems, including the ability to write clear, detailed requirements for technical teamsExceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholdersExperience leading and mentoring teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentFluency in English required; additional language skills are a plusAbout Us: Balsam Brands is a global, omnichannel retailer with roots in holiday and home décor.
