This is a global company with a small site in Athlone (18 employees).
This role will suit applicants with broad supply chain experience and a lot of ambition and willingness to learn.

The Supply Chain role responsibilities:
You will be responsible for working with other internal teams to ensure the smooth and efficient management of the supply chain, logistics, distribution process and operations.
This broad and hands-on role involves demand forecasting, inventory management, production planning, logistics coordination, and ensuring adherence to pharmaceutical regulations and quality standards.
This varied and busy role will suit applicants who are versatile and enjoy adapting to a wide range of responsibilities and thrive in a dynamic, ever-evolving work environment.
Maintaining demand forecasts for the product portfolio based on historical data, market trends, and customer requirements.
Coordinating production schedules while considering lead times and production capacity.
Creating and adjusting production schedules based on supply availability, production capacity, and demand forecasts.
Supporting the Distribution Centre operations to include receipt of goods inwards and preparing goods for shipment.
Overseeing coordination between suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics providers to ensure on-time delivery and product availability.
Providing project support to implement a new ERP system and maintain the supply chain activities on the ERP system.
Qualifications & Experience needed for this role:
University graduate (bachelor honours or masters' degree level).
Degree in supply chain management is a plus but not essential.
At least 2 years' experience in supply chain / logistics role within pharmaceutical, Medical Device, or FMCG industries.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, data analysis, demand planning, and reporting tools.
Experience in ERP systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
