Sales Executive / Capital Equipment
Our client, a leading global packaging solutions company, seeks an experienced Sales Solutions Executive to drive business growth.
The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales and account management targets as set out by the Sales Manager. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned solutions sales specialist with in-depth knowledge of packaging and capital equipment.
The Role:
In collaboration with the Sales Manager, the ideal candidate will develop and implement an integrated sales strategy to expand and grow the business.
The key responsibilities include reporting on sales performance using established tools and structures, developing new sales relationships, and managing existing customer accounts to maximize profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop Key Account strategy and identify potential customers to target for growth
2. Achieve agreed sales/development plans, winning new business and managing resources to budget targets
3. Manage sales process from project initiation to successful payment and customer satisfaction
4. Maintain professional customer relationships to improve communication and increase loyalty
5. Provide detailed market analysis to support strategic business development
6. Work closely with Projects & Service teams to ensure accurate specifications and capture of customer needs
7. Provide accurate short, medium, and long-term forecasts to manage sales activity and support business planning and development
8. Improve margin and organic growth with existing business
9. Negotiate contractual terms where necessary to protect and quantify trading relationships
10. Manage customer accounts to agreed credit limits and time scales, following up on any overdue accounts in conjunction with the credit team
Requirements:
Experience as a Sales Executive, particularly in packaging and capital equipment
Strong understanding of sales strategies and tactics
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to analyze market trends and provide detailed market analysis
