BIM Coordinator
PE Global are delighted to be working with a tier 1 contractor, and we are seeking a BIM Coordinator to join our client for a number of multi-disciplined projects in the Munster area.
This full-time role may be site based or at our offices in Cork City. The successful candidate will have an excellent opportunity to develop and progress professionally.
* Ensure delivery of the information requirements of the EIR & enforce the BIM Execution Plan.
* Receive & maintain information pertaining to the Project Information Model.
* Review information exchanges within the common data environment.
* Collaborate on-going with multi-discipline BIM Coordinators.
* Execute spatial coordination processes.
* Track and report on the coordination process.
* Verify site installations using reality capture tools and software – laser scanning.
* Manage the collation and input of asset information to the Asset Information Model for handover.
* Support the Design Manager on design/project delivery.
* Assist in the coordination of the design team and specialist subcontractors.
* Attend/Host BIM coordination meetings and workshops.
* Confirm suppliers' ability to deliver project BIM requirements.
* A third-level qualification in BIM, Engineering, or Architecture, with additional BIM training.
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar BIM role.
* A solid understanding of BIM tools and digital design coordination.
* A solid understanding of document management systems and CDEs Aconex, BIM360, and/or others.
* Strong attention to detail & solution-driven.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
* Strong written and oral communication skills.
* Self-motivating to deliver on safety, quality & programme.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* A full driving license.
