Nord Anglia International School, Dublin, is seeking a compassionate and adaptable Early Years Teaching and Learning Assistant to join our team. The Role
We are looking for a passionate and qualified Teaching and Learning Assistant to support our early years team, with a focus on:
* Assisting in the delivery of engaging and developmentally appropriate learning activities in line with early years educational standards.
* Providing individual and group support to children to foster their social, emotional, and academic development.
* Creating and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
* Preparing resources and materials to support learning and classroom activities.
* Supporting teachers in assessment, record-keeping, and classroom management.
* Encouraging positive relationships between students, staff, and parents to enhance the learning experience.
* Assisting with daily routines, including personal care and hygiene, as required.
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess
* A minimum qualification of QQI Level 5 in Teaching and Learning or an equivalent early years qualification.
* Previous experience working in an educational setting, preferably in an early years classroom.
* A strong understanding of child development principles and early years learning methodologies.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, students, and parents.
* Proficiency in using educational technology and classroom resources to support learning.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
