We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Senior Speech & Language Therapist to join our team in CHO1 Cavan.
Contract Type: Permanent Full-time Contract
Contract Hours: 1.0 WTE 35 hours per week
Salary Scale: €57,771 to €68,387 pro rata per annum (subject to Long Service Increments)
Annual Leave Entitlement: 33 days pro rata per annum and proportionately less for less than 12 months service.
Overview of the Post:
The post holder will be responsible for the provision of a speech and language therapy service, including assessment diagnostics and intervention, clinical and performance supervision, and ongoing service delivery to children with a range of disabilities. Services are currently provided to children aged 0-18 years with physical, sensory, learning disabilities, developmental delay, and autism.

The successful candidate will have:
1. Be registered, or be eligible for registration, as a Speech & Language Therapist by the Speech & Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
2. Have 3 years full time (or an aggregate of 3 years full time) post qualification clinical experience.
3. Have the requisite knowledge and ability for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
4. Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Speech & Language Therapists Register maintained by the Speech & Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued.
5. Maintain annual registration on the Speech & Language Therapists Register maintained by the Speech & Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
6. Confirm annual registration with CORU to Enable Ireland.
7. Be eligible to work in the state.
8. 3 years recent relevant post qualification experience, including a minimum of 1 year post qualification experience of working with children with a range of disabilities / developmental delay and their families.
9. Experience of working with children aged 0 – 18 years and their families.
10. Valid driving licence for within the state/jurisdiction with access to own transport to deliver services across a large geographical area.
11. Post graduate training and experience in Management of FEDS Disorders.
12. Relevant post graduate training specific to 0 – 18 years.
13. Experience in conducting Assessment of Need.
14. Relevant training and experience in the assessment and intervention of children with autism.
15. Experience and/or training in clinical supervision.
