As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering innovative guest experiences that resist predictability. Job Summary:
You will be assigned to supervise the activities of associates ensuring excellence in guest rooms, corridors, fire exits, stairways, service areas, and service rooms on assigned areas/floors meeting high-level guest and management expectations. Key responsibilities include:
* Ensuring turndown service is carried out to the highest degree by nightly refresh attendants
* Maintaining smooth operations of the Housekeeping Department in the absence of the Executive Accommodation Manager/Assistant Accommodation Manager
Operations: Assist in daily operational duties of the Accommodation department, including compliance with Marriott Operating Standards to maintain brand integrity.
Guest Satisfaction: Strive to meet or exceed customer expectations while handling guest problems or complaints in an understanding and hospitable manner.
Human Resources: Assist in maintaining the Marriott culture and developing a team spirit among housekeeping staff. Attend all departmental meetings and actively participate in sharing best practices.
Financial Management: Assist as needed in managing the Accommodation function operating budget and capital expenditure budget to achieve or exceed budget expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervising and assigning work to evening associates and checking they have relevant tools for the job
* Checking standard of rooms turned down by nightly refresh attendants
* Inspecting vacant ready rooms/occupied ready rooms and reporting any discrepancies to the Housekeeping Office/Front Office immediately
* Meeting and greeting guests with a smile and offering assistance at all times
* Using proper telephone etiquette as per the LSOP Lead by example in all you do, striving to ensure standards of all rooms equal to a high degree of excellence as per the Brand Standards.
Requirements: Excellent communication skills, good time management, hospitality experience preferred. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions when necessary.
