This position will become a critical contributor and take ownership of designing and implementing these complex wealth and investment management workflows leveraged by some of the largest participants in the industry. This position will be a full stack developer working on projects of rich functionality, web services, writing test and performance automation, improving system scalability, and performance. The team maintains a highly collaborative work environment.
The company is migrating its architecture to a cloud-based solution. As part of this effort, engineers will work on some of the following technologies: Azure, React, Kubernetes, Kafka, and micro-services.
The Wealth Optimization team is building a product which allows wealth managers to construct, manage, and trade high volumes of portfolios given various investment objectives and constraints. The product is gaining strong demand in the industry due to interest in direct indexing.

What will you do
Work on a wide range of problems relevant to wealth optimization software. As a full stack engineer, you’ll implement new business functionality and work on all tiers of the application – from user interface to the database. You’ll be improving system scalability and performance, creating performance and automation tests, integrating with 3rd party vendor APIs, triaging, fixing bugs, developing user interface, and working on batch processes.

13. B.S. degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or other technical course of study required. MS degree desirable.
Experience:
14. 0 – 2 years of professional experience or equivalent college project experience gained through relevant internships or co-op positions.
15. Knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, compiler or interpreter technologies, embedded systems, operating systems, relational databases (RDBMS), scripting and new/advanced programming languages.
16. Able to work on small projects of limited scope working under the supervision of a more senior team member.
