About the role:
The EMEA Associate Payroll Manager with Czech Payroll experience will have overall responsibility for executing payroll in the EMEA region. The role will be an important part of a cross-regional team of Payroll Experts responsible for different EMEA countries.
What You Will Do In This Role:
1. Approving monthly payrolls within EMEA and supporting other regions when/if required (approval backup).
2. Lead and oversee the processing of end-to-end payroll for all EMEA-based payrolls using ADP Globalview (Czech Payroll) and ADP Celergo, including payroll data imports and integrations, full audits, and communicating funding to the treasury team. Include the end of the quarter, the end of the year, payroll tax compliance, and any audits.
3. Ensures on-time, 100% accurate monthly payroll for employees across multiple legal entities in countries under their jurisdictions.
4. Subject matter expert for all payroll matters: will assist the payroll team, benefits team, stock team, P&C Teams, and the employees with all payroll-related matters and queries.
5. Meet all regulatory, tax, compliance, internal and external filings, third-party payments, and reporting requirements on a monthly and annual basis for all payroll and employee benefits for all legal entities and countries within remit.
6. Ensures that Salary and Wages associated with all payroll and benefit-related payments are accurate and properly working closely with Global Statutory and General Accounting team.
7. Managing relationships with local payroll vendor(s) and country-specific regulatory and accounting bodies to ensure compliance with all country and workforce-related laws within remit (assist with preparing vendor performance metrics, escalate issues to Payroll Manager and Finance Management).
8. Ensure robust operating procedures and document management practices are prepared, maintained, and followed for all functions to comply with corporate policies, tax authorities, bank authorities, and other statutory agencies within the remit.
9. Support overall Payroll International Operations by ensuring cross-training for primary, secondary, and tertiary cover is in place for countries within the remit and reflected on a regular basis in the training matrix. Provide backup support where necessary.
10. Recommends process improvements, updates payroll documentation, implements audits, performs user testing, and creates Adhoc reporting to assist in auditing and process improvements.
11. Help Support M&A and Divestiture activity for EEMEA payrolls.
12. Experience with ADP Global View, ADP Celergo, ADP E-Service, Workday, Service-Now, and Oracle.

What You’ll Need to be Successful in this Role:
1. You have directly managed a team of 6+ before now. Leadership – People management experience.
2. Fluent Czech language and strong/fluent English language.
3. Clear understanding of Leave of Absence management and reporting requirements to the CSSZ and regularizing on payroll (Sickness, Maternity, Paternity, Parental, other unpaid leaves etc.).
4. Strong knowledge of the Czech Labor code and Czech Payroll overall.
5. Good organizational/prioritization skills, working effectively to numerous deadlines.
6. Experience with a wide range of international payroll and benefits tax legislation and regulatory requirements.
7. SAP experience – Globalview would be an extra advantage.
8. Ability to train and cover other EMEA country payroll as required.
9. Ability to proactively manage risk and implement/maintain effective controls in an ever-changing environment.
10. Experience in managing and building effective working relationships with third-party outsourced service providers/vendors (ADP in particular).
11. Ability to work independently with limited day-to-day supervision.
12. Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
