* Drivers must ensure that patients are safely strapped in their wheelchairs and seatbelts for a comfortable ride.

Job Details:
* A non-emergency transportation driver is required to know how to operate the wheelchair lift.
* The lift is designed to work on a hydraulic system to safely put a patient in the vehicle and has seat belts to secure the patient during the process.
* Drivers are expected to assist patients when they reach their destination, helping them to their final location, whether it is the doctor’s office or their home.
* Non-emergency transportation companies require drivers to have smartphones to report pick-up and drop-off times.
* Drivers must understand their schedules for the next day before leaving work, ensuring they know all pick-up and drop-off locations.
* If a driver cannot make it on time to pick up a client, they must notify the client of their late arrival and maintain contact with headquarters to accommodate other schedules.
* The role can be hectic, so individuals of high integrity are preferred.
* Besides qualifications, drivers should possess qualities that will help them enjoy their work, such as patience to deal with tight schedules and clients who may need assistance.

Requirements:
