Role Overview:
The Cash Management Sales VP for Non-Bank Financial Institutions is responsible for selling global and domestic cash management solutions to a portfolio of NBFI clients. Working closely with a team of relationship bankers, the role focuses on proactively identifying cross-selling opportunities and developing new revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. New Business Development:
2. Collaborate with relationship bankers to review client portfolios and identify growth opportunities.
3. Develop and execute Client Action Plans for key clients in alignment with the company’s cash management strategy.
4. Engage with client decision-makers regularly to build strong relationships and trust, ensuring at least two visits per year.
5. Utilise a consultative sales approach to understand client needs and develop tailored solutions.
6. Maintain a robust pipeline of new opportunities for the assigned portfolio of NBFIs.
7. Manage existing and prospective clients to sustain and grow the revenue base.
8. Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by fulfilling their requirements and resolving any potential issues effectively.
9. Coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g., bankers, securities services, product managers) to ensure seamless service delivery.
10. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic solutions that align with their objectives.
11. Ensure relationship bankers are well-informed about cash management solutions to facilitate advanced client discussions.
12. Cross-Selling & Market Positioning:
13. Promote other banking products (such as trade finance, short-term investments, and forex) to clients.
14. Represent the company at industry conferences and events, showcasing market knowledge and bespoke solution design.
15. Propose new product development based on an in-depth understanding of NBFI client needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in cash management sales.
2. Comprehensive knowledge of European and international cash management solutions.
3. Familiarity with financial institutions' cash management requirements.
4. Strong consultative and advisory skills, with experience in structuring complex cash management solutions.
5. Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish credibility with clients and internal stakeholders.
6. A Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
