Overview
The Azure Core organization, specifically Networking team is seeking a highly motivated, talented and technical program manager to deliver on our mission to build world’s largest, most reliable and secure cloud network. As part of this team, you will work directly with core Azure engineering teams to deliver intelligent, massively scalable, automated solutions that give our 1st and 3rd party customers world class infrastructure to run their mission critical services. You will advance the state-of-the-art in core Azure platforms to manage server clusters hosting Azure workloads running on millions of servers.
As a Technical Program Manager II, you will collaborate actively across dozens of teams across Azure to present, brainstorm and bring ideas to life. Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
1. Experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
2. Bachelor's Degree AND experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
3. Software industry experience working as a technical program or product manager
Preferred Qualifications:
4. Experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
5. Experience in Data Center Network Technologies
Software Defined Networks
Distributed systems, building large scale platforms, and cloud technologies.
6. Proven ability to discuss distributed computing topics with technical, non-technical, and executive audiences.
7. Domain knowledge about cloud datacenter infrastructure & environment.
8. Strong track record of self-directed execution.
9. Scripting and/or programming skills in C#, R, Python, or PowerShell.
10. Hands on experience with data analytic tools (such as Kusto/Azure Data Explorer, Power BI, SQL).
11. Strong written communication and presentation skills.
12. Ability to be strategic, but also drive tactics and execution as needed.

13. Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
