About Your New Job
The firm is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Architectural Technician to support the design and construction teams by producing detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
You will work with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that projects meet technical, regulatory, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Create accurate architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed construction documentation using AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software.
2. Earnsure all designs adhere to local building codes, regulations, and industry standards and coordinate with local authorities and building inspectors to ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
3. Work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure design solutions are technically feasible and meet client requirements.
4. Prepare survey drawings and reports for project documentation.
5. Earnsure that all project documentation is up to date and accurately reflects design developments.
6. Experience in preparing and submitting planning applications and tender packages an advantage.
What Skills You Need:
* Degree in Architectural Technology or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience working as an Architectural Technologist.
* Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other industry-standard design software.
* Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations and planning requirements and BCAR.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
