We have partnered again with a leading aviation software company, hiring an ICT Cyber Analyst who will provide comprehensive cyber security support for business Information and Communications Technology (ICT) systems and infrastructure, including cloud services. The role involves implementing and supporting the ICT cyber security strategy, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001), coordinating incident response, monitoring threat alerts, and managing cyber security-related projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Threat Monitoring & Incident Response:
* Monitor and analyse daily security threat alerts, ensuring timely identification and mitigation of potential risks.
* Coordinate incident response efforts and implement mitigation measures.
Cyber Security Strategy & Compliance:
* Assist in the development and implementation of the ICT cyber security strategy.
* Ensure compliance with cyber security policies, standards (such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001), and regulatory requirements.
* Conduct regular risk assessments to evaluate security vulnerabilities and ensure compliance.
Cyber Security Infrastructure Support:
* Provide ongoing support for key network infrastructure components, including firewalls, routers, intrusion detection systems, and switches.
* Evaluate and support the application of security best practices across all ICT services.
Project Management:
* Manage and track cyber security projects and tasks, ensuring that deadlines and budgets are met.
* Provide detailed schedules, time estimates, and documentation for deliverables, including risk assessments and project plans.
Cyber Security Tools & Technologies:
* Identify and evaluate new and emerging cyber security technologies.
* Manage and optimize security monitoring systems (e.g., SIEM/SOC solutions, SolarWinds, IBM QRadar).
Supplier & Contract Management:
* Coordinate with external suppliers and service providers to ensure adherence to cyber security policies and standards.
* Support procurement activities for ICT hardware/software, ensuring that security considerations are integrated into product specifications.
Compliance Reporting & Governance:
* Ensure that compliance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) are tracked and reported on a regular basis.
* Assist in maintaining up-to-date ICT Information Security Policies.
Education:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Cyber security qualification is a plus).
Experience:
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a cyber security or network analyst role, preferably within a large, 24/7, government, or enterprise environment.
* Proven experience in cyber security compliance, network security, and incident response.
Skills:
* Strong working knowledge of cyber security compliance frameworks, including NIS1/NIS2 and NIST CSF.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects under pressure.
* Proven ability to collaborate with technical teams and external suppliers.
Desirable Experience & Skills:
* Experience working in a 24/7, mission-critical environment.
* ISO 27001 certification and its application in cyber security.
* Experience with security aspects of cloud infrastructure and services.
