Our Senior Brand Manager will report directly to the Senior Content Marketing Director responsible for branded, Social, PR and digital content campaigns delivered for flagship global platforms in the Gambling.com Group. With a focus on Sports, Casino and Entertainment when it comes to the news, key events and talking points in the gambling space.
The right candidate will be expected to be interested in and/or understand the various types of online gambling activities and have a strong interest in sports/sports betting.
Experience and a good understanding of gambling social media and other digital channels across affiliate marketing, earned media, display and SEO is an advantage.
Expect to be a key leader for process and implementation across our content marketing campaigns, telling stories and creating positive brand engagement with our talented team of PR, Social, Email and News Content creators.
This role requires attention to detail, a genuine competitive commercial focus, exposure to SEO tactics, high value content media production and commercial writing techniques with proven ability to impact cross functional teams in all types of earned media within a gaming/gambling genre.
Responsibilities:
* Brand Strategy & Positioning:
o Develop and implement brand strategies that align with company objectives in the online and offline gambling sectors (casinos, sports betting, iGaming, etc.).
o Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels, including websites, apps, social media, and physical venues.
o Differentiate the brand in a competitive gambling market through compelling storytelling and unique value propositions.
* Marketing Campaigns & Execution:
o Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social media, TV, influencer partnerships, and sponsorships.
o Optimize customer acquisition and retention strategies using data-driven insights.
o Work with creative teams to develop engaging and compliant advertising content.
* Regulatory Compliance & Responsible Gambling:
o Ensure all marketing and branding activities comply with industry regulations and responsible gambling guidelines.
o Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to uphold ethical advertising standards.
o Analyse market trends, competitor strategies, and consumer behaviour to refine branding initiatives.
o Leverage customer insights, loyalty programs, and feedback to enhance the brand experience.
o Utilize analytics tools to track campaign performance and optimize marketing strategies.
* Partnerships & Sponsorships:
o Identify and manage strategic partnerships with affiliates, sports teams, influencers, and media platforms.
o Oversee sponsorship deals to enhance brand visibility and credibility.
* Budget Management & ROI Analysis:
o Develop and manage marketing budgets effectively, ensuring a strong return on investment (ROI).
o Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies based on campaign performance data.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Experience & Education:
o Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.
o 5+ years of experience in brand campaign management, preferably in the gambling, betting, or gaming industry.
* Key Skills:
o Knowledge of the gambling industry, including online casinos, sportsbooks, and regulatory requirements.
o Expertise in digital marketing, affiliate marketing, and customer acquisition and lead generation strategies.
o Proficiency in CRM software, analytics tools, and marketing automation platforms.
o Excellent communication, leadership, and project management abilities.
o Ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
* Experience working with gambling regulators and compliance teams in a marketing space.
* Knowledge of emerging trends in iGaming, blockchain gambling, and esports betting.
* Familiarity with retention strategies such as VIP programs, loyalty rewards, and gamification.
* Existing gaming media and PR relationships.
* Experience leading an editorial team in online digital content.
* Experience leading a PR focused team and earning media placements.
* Experience using Social Listening and SEO content tools like SEMRUSH / AHRefs / GA.
