Sales DirectorOur client is a leader in providing medical supplies with offices in Ireland and the States. We are seeking a proven team manager with strong business development skills to lead the sales function and continue to grow the medical supplies part of the business.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.Lead, manage, and mentor a high-performing sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team objectives.Monitor and analyze sales performance, adjusting strategies as needed to improve results. Must be able to write, present, and deliver on business plans, sales strategies, and sales modules.Nurture strong relationships with key clients, industry partners, and internal stakeholders.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with company goals and objectives.Stay current with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform sales strategies and tactics. Must have a proven record in both sales and purchasing practices.Use sales data to help with the pricing of products.Utilize insights to adapt sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.Provide valuable input to product development based on market demands and customer feedback.Collaborate with sales operations and finance teams to develop accurate sales forecasts and plans.Monitor performance against forecasts and implement adjustments as needed.Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field; advanced degree preferred.At least five years of experience in sales leadership, with a track record of achieving revenue targets and driving business growth.Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.In-depth understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and industry trends.Ability to analyze and deal with competitors.Our reference: SG647
