Purpose of the Role: CNM 1 Nursing Quality and Practice role is to ensure the highest standard of patient focused care through leading and managing quality projects, audit and supporting the standardisation of paediatric care, with a specific focus on children's nursing care.
It is envisaged that the post holder will facilitate a continuous process of improvement in the delivery of health care services that are designed to promote increased effectiveness in patient-centred care against agreed KPIs
Essential Criteria: · Candidates must be registered in the Children's division or general division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann) AND
· Must have a minimum three years post qualification recent acute children's nursing experience AND
· Proven track record in continuing professional development
