Sanderson is partnering with a leading Irish energy authority to recruit an Executive Legal Counsel. This is a 13-month contract role, based in Dublin, Dundalk, Cork, or Sligo, providing a unique opportunity to contribute to the country's sustainability goals. This role sits within the Governance and Procurement Department, reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel. Main Responsibilities: Provide legal advice across various departments on matters related to administrative, regulatory, and contract law. Support contractual arrangements with third parties by delivering proactive legal counsel. Engage in diverse legal areas, such as public procurement, State aid, data protection, and Freedom of Information law. Collaborate with Senior Legal Counsel and operational teams to address programmatic and policy-based legal matters. Contribute to high-quality legal services in a dynamic, sustainability-focused environment. Role Requirements: Admitted to practice as a solicitor or barrister in Ireland, with at least four years of relevant post-qualification experience. Proven experience advising on public, regulatory, commercial, or corporate law transactions. Strong track record of managing a varied caseload and meeting critical deadlines.
