Senior/Lead Mechatronic Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Mechatronics Engineer to lead the development of cutting-edge automation technologies and mentor a team of engineers. This individual will work in a multi-discipline environment, designing, developing, and delivering high-quality automation systems that address complex challenges across industries such as pharmaceuticals, autonomous systems, and advanced manufacturing.

The Responsibilities:
1. Lead and guide the Mechatronic team in support of assigned automation projects.
2. Mentor junior engineers, ensuring adherence to processes and high standards of work.
3. Design and develop innovative automated equipment from concept to delivery.
4. Utilize SolidWorks for 3D and 2D design and detailing.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of systems.
6. Manage technical documentation, project control, and customer communications.
7. Pursue continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (8+ years).
* Have 5+ years' experience in Mechanical Design/Engineering, with responsibility for design sign-off, installation, and commissioning.
* Demonstrate proven experience with 3D design tools like SolidWorks.
* Exhibit strong leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.
* Be a team player able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Hold a full UK Driver's License.
