We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Office and Accounts Assistant to support our administrative and accounting teams. This entry-level position is ideal for someone looking to start their career in office administration and finance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist with daily office operations and maintain an organised work environment
2. Answer phone calls, respond to emails and handle correspondence
3. Support the finance team with data entry and record-keeping
4. Assist in processing invoices, receipts and payments
5. Help with bank reconciliations and month-end closing tasks
6. Prepare basic financial reports needed
7. Assist in employee expense tracking
8. Preparation of Revenue returns on a monthly basis
The Person
Qualifications:
1. Basic understanding of accounting principles.
2. Familiarity with accounting software is a plus
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel for data management and reporting
4. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities
