Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Lead to join our Dunboyne site! In this role, you will be a vital part of our Maintenance team, driving accountability while ensuring the reliability and availability of our processes and equipment. Your technical expertise will guide the team in achieving operational goals and fostering a collaborative work environment.
As the direct supervisor, you will focus on the training and development of your team, ensuring they adhere to site procedures. You will also manage the local budget and oversee projects to meet target outcomes.
Building strong relationships across departments will be essential in resolving challenges and maintaining productivity. Additionally, you will coordinate with other engineering leads to support shared objectives and serve as a key contact for the Plant Engineering lead.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support the Plant Engineering team in executing scheduled maintenance routines.
2. Develop and improve maintenance plans continuously.
3. Guide your team in troubleshooting and addressing unplanned equipment downtime.
4. Lead investigations to identify and implement corrective and preventive actions.
5. Seek opportunities for operational improvement.
6. Ensure audit readiness and complete necessary compliance documentation.
7. Foster an environment that encourages the growth and advancement of your team.
8. Contribute to and support site initiatives.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
2. At least 8 years of relevant industry experience.
3. Strong ability to work collaboratively across teams, focusing on meeting deadlines and fostering a supportive work culture.
4. Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, utilities, and maintenance practices.
5. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
