Accounts Payable Team Lead
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Team Lead to join our team in Cork. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of 10 direct reports and ensuring the delivery of operational targets.
Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day operations, including invoice processing, discrepancy management, and payments.
* Ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.
* Serve as the first point of contact for escalations and resolve issues in a timely manner.
* Focus on process efficiency, accuracy, and stakeholder experience.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
* Deliver month-end deliverables, such as cash management and accruals.
* Comply with SOX requirements.
* Support internal and external audits.
* Assist with other activities to ensure the Global Business Service Centre meets its SLAs.
* Establish goals and objectives for the team.
* Maintain performance and career development through effective one-on-ones and team meetings.
* Match individual aspirations with business needs.
* E nsure Standard Operating Procedures are well understood and followed.
* Promote key behaviors and Itron Cultural Tenants.
* Lead by example in meeting deadlines and responding promptly to queries and escalations.
* Hold team members and stakeholders accountable.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2-5 years' experience in a similar position.
* In-depth knowledge of Accounts Payable processes.
* Experience leading a team.
* Working knowledge of Oracle or similar integrated ERP.
* Experience in a fast-paced multinational environment and Shared Service Centre environment.
