Job Title: Field Service Chemical Engineer
We are partnering with a global leader in the provision of Ultra-Pure Water services to various high-profile manufacturing companies across Ireland.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Chemical Engineer to work as part of a team of engineers with their own portfolio of premium clients. The primary focus will be on delivering exceptional customer service, particularly in Chemical Treatment Analysis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for standard maintenance of chemical dosing systems, programming dosing controllers, fault finding, and troubleshooting defective systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide excellent service to customers, focusing on Chemical Treatment Analysis and other service contact elements.
* Carry out standard maintenance of chemical dosing systems, program dosing controllers, and troubleshoot faulty or defective systems.
* Support Project Management and Design teams on new client requests for design, build, installation, and commissioning of new chemical dosing systems.
* Initiate site water treatment programs for existing and new accounts, as well as commission new chemical dosing and control system installations.
* Work closely with Sales and After-Sales Support teams to identify business growth opportunities and acquire new clients.
* Lead after-sales and service support contracts with clients, providing feedback and market information on new products and services.
* Represent the company at trade shows and exhibitions to showcase current and future product offerings.
* Support sales strategy for the territory and participate in commercial tender processes and reviews.
* Drive client partnership and customer relationship management, expanding professional networks and advising customers on best practices.
* Provide training and mentoring on Legionella Controls and ensure customer sites comply with ACOP L8 regulations.
* Maintain and update site service logbooks, digital records, and health and safety ownership for water services risk assessments.
Requirements:
* Hold a degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or related field.
* Be an experienced driver with a valid driving license.
* Be eligible for full-time employment in Ireland.
