We provide supports through the Regional structure and the Person Centred Wing. The Muiríosa Foundation is an established organisation with an excellent reputation in quality service provision.
We are currently seeking to recruit a Senior Manager - this is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and ambitious candidate. They will be a key part of the regional management team and be integral in driving the delivery of a high-quality and person-centred service along with constantly striving for service improvement, development, and expansion.
Person Specification
· The ability to lead teams in driving forward the ethos of Muiríosa Foundation – keeping individuals at the centre of service provision at all times by promoting self-determination and self-direction.
· Be an integral part of the leadership team in the Region (Offaly/Tipperary).
· Have a robust knowledge and understanding of HIQA standards and statutory requirements and their responsibilities as a Person In Charge.
· Have a proven track record in the delivery of high-quality service provision.
· Contribute to service planning and development through identification and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
· Have the ability to effectively communicate with the individuals, their families, circles of support, and all relevant stakeholders.
· Have excellent interpersonal, planning, data management, IT and organizational skills with the ability to work on their own initiative.
· Ensure a high standard of care and support is provided to each individual at all times.
· Be flexible and capable of managing competing priorities within their workload.
· Be on the register of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (RNID division desirable).
· Minimum of 3 years managerial experience in I.D. services (previous PIC experience desirable).
· Recognised management course.
· Demonstrate a commitment to quality assurance, resource management, staff development, professional and clinical development.
· Have a full driving licence – will be required to travel between locations.
· Suitability as outlined in the introduction and person specification above.
