Purpose of the Role:
We are seeking to recruit a Speech and Language Therapist. The successful candidate will be a member of a very experienced Multi-Disciplinary Team that work collaboratively with all staff.
Provide Speech & Language support and information in relation to communication and/ or feeding, eating, drinking, and swallowing disorders etc.
to Service Owners, staff, and family carers.

A Bachelor of Science in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent Current registration with CORU Desirable Qualifications Training in Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC Completion of Lamh training course Desirable Experience year's post qualification clinical experience Experience working with Children / Young Adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or intellectual disabilities.
Experience completing Assessment of Need Trained in Picture Explanatory Communications (PECs Experience in attending Service Owners assessments, reviews and participating in internal/external meetings and case conferences.
Essential Requirement:
A Full Driving License and access to own car Excellent English speaking / report writing skills.
Probationary Period:
A probationary period of six months applies to this position
Salary:
The current salary scale for this position ranges from €50,000 to €55,000 per annum
Annual Leave:
Annual leave entitlement is 23 days pro rata per annum, proportionately adjusted for less than 12 months of service
Garda Clearance / Police Clearance:
Prospective employees undertaking relevant work or activities involving children or vulnerable persons will be required to obtain Garda / Police clearance
