About the Role
The EMEA Non-Traditional Environment (NTE) Security Team is seeking a Data Center Security Specialist to join our expanding Non-Traditional Control Center Team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, innovative, and professional.
* Coordinate activities with internal and external stakeholders.
* Coordinate the activities of a professional contract guard force.
* Interface with and assist in mobilizing vendors involved in system repairs and new security construction.
* Oversee individual security vendor deliverables, track service delivery and request corrective actions from vendors as needed.
* Foster working relationships to educate Data Center business partners and stakeholders on NTE Security posture, processes and procedures.
* Foster working relationships to educate Data Center business partners and stakeholders on false alarm reductions.
* Extract metrics and observe improvements by looking at and analyzing data.
* Verify Data Center security programs are delivered to meet defined global security standards.
* Develop strategies for improving electronic surveillance and access controls.
* Draft reports and prepare presentations on the status of physical security operations.
* Collaborate with managers in writing and implementing security processes and procedures.
* Serve as a customer advocate by identifying security-related opportunities and crafting innovative solutions that maintain uncompromising security standards.
Key qualifications include:
* 1+ year of experience working in a standards-based professional work environment.
* 1+ year of experience collecting, analyzing, and utilizing data to drive process and system improvement, and effect quality assurance.
* 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Office tools.
* 1+ year working in an operations, physical security or equivalent environment.
* 2+ years of experience collecting, analyzing, and utilizing data.
* Participated in an Integrated Project Team or served as part of team to complete a general project.
* 2+ years of experience compiling reports.
* 1+ years of demonstrated leadership skills.
* 1+ years of incident response & management experience.
* 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office tools
