This role is responsible for providing day-to-day administrative support by ensuring timely tracking of work orders, maintaining inventory stocks, and various other administrative functions.
Essential Functions:
* Routine generation of work orders, preventive maintenance (PM), and reports via a Computerized Management System.
* Maintenance of active work in progress, including creating new, modifying, and closing work orders and PMs, as necessary.
* Capture and log data for work orders and PMs, including tracking downtime hours, reasons for failure, reasons for outage, labor hours, and parts used on the job.
* Work directly with vendors to order spare parts or purchase materials via phone, fax, or e-mail.
* Maintain inventory of maintenance parts and materials, including requisitioning parts in and out of stock, cycle counts, and printing barcode labels.
* Ensure all required documents are up-to-date, as required.
* Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or equivalent. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of education.
* 2+ years of experience in a maintenance support or related role.
* Must successfully complete Hazardous Waste (RCRA) Intermediate level training, which includes introductory and recurring training.
* Must be respirator certified, or able to become certified.
