Job Description
The Quality, Safety & Risk Manager (QSRM) at Affidea Ireland is responsible for overseeing the quality, safety, and risk management program across clinics. This role includes managing compliance with complaints, audits, health and safety standards, and data protection.
Key Responsibilities
* Clinical Governance/Compliance with regulation and standards: Develop strategies, policies, procedures, practices, protocols in respect of the entire range of QSRP undertakings and ensure that related provisions are fully implemented across the organisation.
* Work with the Clinical Services Manager to ensure HIQA and EPA compliance is maintained in all relevant sites Lead on the JCI accreditation programme in Affidea Complaints Management: Develop and lead the complaints management process, ensure all complaints are identified, responded to and investigated. Put in place systems to ensure key learnings are identified and steps to prevent reoccurrence.
* Audit: Ensure audits and data collection processes are established and implemented Ensure a full cycle of Clinical audit is in place as per HIQA guidelines Ensure data is validated in compliance with JCI QPS standards Ensure relevant departmental staff are appropriately trained for data collection and validation Health & Safety Standards: Working with the Human Resources and Operations teams ensure compliance with the relevant Health and Safety standards in the Republic of Ireland and the Health & Safety Executive in Northern Ireland Support the clinic managers in implementing measures to ensure HAS/HSE compliance in their clinics Data Protection: The Data Protection Officer reports to the QSRM The QSRM monitors the activities of the DPO and ensures that robust system of ongoing compliance, training, audit is in place
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
* Minimum Degree level qualification, ideally in quality /health management Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role preferably within the healthcare sector Demonstrable knowledge of QSRM at all levels, including senior management level Significant experience in engaging with legislative governing bodies Ability to gather relevant information systematically to resolve issues Full drivers license and ability to travel Ability to work in a team environment
Salary
$60,000 - $80,000 per annum depending on experience
