Job Title – Senior Engineer – Tier 1
Project – New Build Residential

About the Company
New opportunity to work with a very busy Tier 1 Main Contractor on a new build RC Frame development in Dublin City. This exciting project is live but very early stages, with a minimum of 2.5 years left. This will be a permanent role, with future work in the Dublin area. They require a confident engineer to lead the engineering team on a €50M+ project. Applicant must have experience working on high rise, high value developments and be capable of supervising a busy site and providing technical assistance to the Project Manager and Design Teams.
The Role
* Checking works as required for the project and ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.
* Lead a team of engineers and oversee activities on site.
* Liaise with sub-contractors and personnel on site in the planning and construction of the project.
* Support the Project Manager/Site Manager/Design Team to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
* Work with design team and architects to quickly and efficiently overcome any technical issues that may arise during the construction stage.
* Maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel.
Requirements
* A Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience with a Main Contractor in ROI.
* RC Frame experience is essential.
* Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.
* Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint.
