TTM Healthcare have partnered with an acute hospital based in Cork to recruit an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in Cardiothoracic.
This is a full time permanent role working 37.5 hours per week.
Requirements:
•Be a registered nurse on the NMBI's Active Register.
•Masters in Nursing Qualification and working towards registration on the Advanced Nurse Practitioner section of the NMBI register
•The post holder's practice is based on developing a higher level of capability across the six domains of competences as defined by the Nursing & Midwifery Board of. Ireland Advanced Practice (Nursing) Standards and Requirements (NMBI 2017)
•Current certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with specialisation in Cardiovascular or Thoracic Nursing.
•Minimum of 3 years of experience in a cardiothoracic setting, preferably in an advanced practice role.
•Strong clinical skills and knowledge of cardiothoracic conditions, treatments, and procedures.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
•Ability to work independently and make critical decisions in a fast paced environment.
•Commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of emerging trends in cardiothoracic medicine.
•Demonstrate advanced knowledge and clinical expertise in the nursing management of complex patients.
•Intermediate IT skills
•Experience in teaching and assessing junior staff/nursing students
