Job Title: Social Care Worker
We are currently recruiting for experienced and qualified Social Care Workers to join our team at Cpl Healthcare. Our client, a reputable service dedicated to assisting young people in reaching their full potential and integrating into the community, requires professionals with a passion for delivering high-quality care.
About the Role:
* Provide direct support services to children in residential care, adhering to policies and procedures set by our client.
* Guide and mentor junior Social Care Workers to ensure they receive the necessary training and development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver person-centered care to residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
2. Maintain accurate records of resident activities, progress, and any concerns or issues that may arise.
3. Collaborate with other care staff to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
4. Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders to promote a sense of community and belonging.
Requirements:
* Degree in Social Care (Level 7 minimum) from an accredited institution.
* A minimum of 2 years' experience working within the social care sector, preferably in a residential setting.
* Minimum 6 months of experience working directly with vulnerable populations, such as children in care.
* Full Clean Driver's License is highly desirable.
* In-depth knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations.
* Ability to work flexibly across all shifts, including days, nights, evenings, and weekends.
