An opportunity has arisen for a full-time position within our busy Accounts department.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter, capable of working on their own initiative, have excellent communication skills and work well as part of a team. The role will suit a person who is highly organised, enthusiastic and eager to work in a busy Accounts department.
Job Description
* Monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and credit cards, ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial data.
* Monitor and control bank balances.
* Reconciling intercompany balances and processing required payments.
* Management of USA Sales Tax submissions – ensuring compliance with tax regulations in multiple states on a monthly and quarterly basis.
* Management of USA Corporation Tax submissions – working with tax advisors to ensure quarterly and annual corporation tax returns are prepared and submitted accurately and on time.
* Maintain financial accounting functions, including g/l code review, journal entries & balance sheet reconciliations.
* Preparation of monthly Management Accounts & reports suite.
* Preparation and submission of year end accounts & annual audit file and assisting auditors finalise audit.
* Interaction with IRS on behalf of the company in relation to annual filings and ad hoc queries.
* Reviewing integrity of data processed on ERP system by a variety of departments e.g. Order entry, AP, AR, etc.
* Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support business decision-making.
* Collaborate closely with the management team, offering day-to-day assistance across financial and business operations.
* Assist colleagues in accounts department with queries.
* Ongoing maintenance of company insurance policies.
* Ad hoc duties as required e.g. coordination with customers in relation to Customs Documentation.
