Job Title:
Warehouse Executive Responsible to: Warehouse Manager and / or approved Company designate
Main Location:
Cork, but the postholder may be required to visit other sites for the satisfactory performance of their duties and responsibilities.
Normal Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm, with a one-hour unpaid break.
Additional hours may be required to meet the demands of the business _________________________________________________________________________________________ Main Duties and Responsibilities: Unloading Inbound trailers.
Loading/Unloading Domestic Delivery drivers.
Loading/Unloading logistics stock vehicles.
Identifying any missing/damaged freight and immediately advising transport planner.
Scanning of Inbound freight.
Assisting with cleaning of warehouse and perimeter of building.
Paperwork:
Handing all paperwork received into transport office.
Planning of loads in warehouse.
Measuring of freight on request of transport planner.
Accepting freight into warehouse in correct manner signing for damages/shortages on arrival.
Adhering to all COVID -19 guidelines.
Assisting in cover for Transport Planner.
Pictures of any damages must be taken and reported accordingly Other duties as requested Warehouse Qualifications and
Skills Requirements:
Prior experience working in a warehouse environment.
Knowledge of operating a forklift.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work on own initiative and also as part of a team.
Possess a good standard of English spoken and reading.
Forklift license required.
Manual Handling certificate required.
Adhering to all company Health and Safety guidelines.
Time management It is very important that warehouse operative arrives for shift on time and does not leave before scheduled finish time.
