Senior Customer Solutions Manager – Automotive IndustryAWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
Our Customer Solutions Managers guide our customers on their journey to the AWS cloud, as single-threaded leaders skilled at leveraging the vast resources available from within our company and across our partners.
Key ResponsibilitiesWorking as the single-threaded delivery leader and strategic business partner helping your customer achieve their business outcomes and drive innovation.Enable stakeholder alignment, build team cohesion, and manage project risks while collaborating with the Global Account Manager, Partner Manager, Enterprise Service Manager, and our Services Team.Engage the customer and AWS executives to define program strategy, remove blockers, and resolve funding issues.Translate strategic initiatives in the account plan into executable actions, working backwards from our customer's key milestones.Drive the execution of enablement plans, acceleration programs, Executive Briefing Sessions, and go-live events.Evangelize AWS services and influence customer adoption.Contribute to the day-to-day management of your customers' successful adoption of AWS.Basic Qualifications• Previous experience leading complex, large-scale IT/digital/business transformation programs
• Previous experience in a senior customer facing role
• Superior written and verbal communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to effectively deliver information to c-suite/VP level
• Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills with precise attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications• Robust understanding of Automotive manufacturing and production IT, including direct experience with global automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers
• Direct experience implementing AWS/cloud services
• Demonstrable understanding of key technology and market trends
• Experience with revenue realization in complex IT transformations
• Deep understanding of software development/engineering life-cycle from conception to delivery
