What you will do
An exciting opportunity has become available to join ADT fire and security as Commercial Sales Team Leader. As the Commercial Team Leader, you will drive new and extra works business from existing and new SME customers within a set geographical territory. You will manage circa 500 SME accounts within a territory in line with the channel. You will respond to incoming enquiries and self-generate new business (new solutions or upgrades to services) from these accounts. You will also manage a select number of defined lead sources to support new customer acquisition.
You will manage a team of up to 5 field-based B2B sales consultants who will require day-to-day support. You will drive motivation and desire to succeed, coaching where required and reporting to senior management on your team’s performance. You will implement ADT’s consumer sales strategy through the creation of a customer-focused, performance environment where sales consultants are effectively managed and developed, where diversity is promoted and where all budgets and targets relating to the growth of commercial sales are consistently achieved. You will be responsible for developing high performers through the right levels of training, motivation and support.
How you will do it
* Drive new and additional works from your existing customer accounts by building strong relationships with them.
* Sourcing potential new customers through self-generated business and referrals in a specific geographic area.
* Self-generate sales leads through networking, referrals and warm/cold calling to execute the channel customer contact strategy.
* Work closely with your new business colleagues to ensure a smooth handover of new customers into the business.
* Conduct weekly calls with the head of sales to establish forecasting, coaching needs and support.
* Dedicate one day per week to field-based support of the team.
* Liaise with operational staff to ensure sales are delivered in accordance with company and industry standards.

Essential
* The successful candidate will be a proven seller.
* Adept at managing existing customer relationships to drive growth for ADT along with increased satisfaction for the customer.
* Ability to function independently and leverage resources while engaging with ADT operational departments to ensure high levels of customer service.
* Understanding of the sales process from start to finish.
* Managerial experience not required but a desire to learn and develop coaching skills is required.
* Full driver’s license.
Preferred
* Ability to function independently while leveraging resources and engaging with operational departments.
* Demonstrated successful track record of achievement.
* Ideally have security industry experience.
* Knowledge of the Irish security market.
* Experience with Salesforce as a CRM tool.
