Closing Date for Application:Thursday 23/01/2025A Territory Sales Representative is responsible for maintaining and developing their own customer portfolio, with a keen focus on account management, to capitalise on customer relationships, follow up leads and maximise the potential for growth of all Genuit Group Products to our merchant partners and Contractors.We are currently recruiting for an ambitious Territory Sale Representative covering Greater Dublin and North Leinster area.You would be responsible for :Develop strong trading relationships with existing customers, closely monitoring their performance and buying behaviourMaximising sales and profit, showcasing your product knowledge with an ability to sell solutions to help solve technical Customer issuesConstantly monitor market activity to keep ahead of headwinds and tailwindsDevelop the Genuit product portfolio within your territory to add valueBuild a Target list of prospects to grow your market share within your territoryConduct regular branch reviews with Key merchant partners – developing our product range and their product knowledge and relationshipsScope, target and manage projects within own territory – ensuring a healthy project pipelineTarget, Grow and develop relationships within Key Construction contractors, Specifiers and M&E consultants – providing expert advice and supportEnsure a correct balance of merchant partners / Contractors to maximise Push/Pull strategy in own territoryTo produce and analyse sales data about customers - using Excel spreadsheets, QlikView and access database and any other relevant mediaHave an ability to operate at various levels – C-suite to siteBecome a passionate expert within the product range of Genuit GroupTo report back to the sales manager on a regular basis with relevant area trend informationTo attend and actively participate at regular sales meetingsTo liaise with Marketing about promotions and selling collateralTo link in all promotions and projects in conjunction with any current marketing strategy and to promote them to merchants and ContractorsTo participate in marketing events such as trade shows and to represent Polypipe Ulster part of the Genuit GroupAttend training and to develop relevant knowledge, techniques, and skills to facilitate all the aboveScale and Territory Indicators:Manage a customer ledger of active trading accounts within defined territory.To represent the product range and focus upon product lines which have been identified as priority.This is not an exhaustive list and may be updated as the business and individuals growThe person must have:Pass grades in Math's & English or equivalentSignificant Experience in Construction industry solution sellingAbility to communicate concepts, promotions, products and services to customers using a variety of mediaMarket Awareness of this IndustryAbility to listen to customer concerns in a professional manner and to effectively resolve them.Eligible to work in ROIHold a full clean driving licenseProficient in Microsoft Office Package particularly excel, word and PowerPointExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the flexibility to deal with individuals at all levelsAbility to work on own initiative and prioritise a wide variety of tasksKnowledge of Polypipe products and services would be advantageousKnowledge of discount structures and promotional plans would be advantageousWhy join our team :Competitive Salary package which includes company carFamily Friendly policies and procedures which includes Enhanced Maternity and Enhanced Paternity payWestfield HealthLife AssuranceHere at the Genuit Group we recognise and develop the contribution our people make to the Group’s success and are committed to attracting talent from the widest pool.
