Job Summary
A 4-star hotel is seeking an experienced Front Office Manager to lead and support a friendly team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Front Office Supervisor/Assistant Manager and strong knowledge of Front Office Systems, preferably Opera.
Main Responsibilities
* Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and standards to ensure efficient front desk operations.
* Ensure timely arrival and departure procedures, guaranteeing a positive guest experience.
* Manage reservations calls effectively, providing high-level guest care.
* Attend meetings, including the Morning stand-up and weekly Head of Department meeting, to stay informed and aligned with hotel goals.
* Oversee room allocation and liaise with Accommodation to ensure seamless check-in and check-out processes.
* Promote the hotel's amenities, outlets, and local activities to guests.
* Maintain accurate filing and administration within the department.
* Recruit and train new team members to enhance the front office team's skills and productivity.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Front Office Supervisor/Assistant Manager is essential.
* Strong working knowledge of Front Office Systems, preferably Opera.
* Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
* Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
