My clients, a large housing developer are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Officer to join their team in Dublin.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated professional to play a key role in maintaining and enhancing safety standards across high-profile housing projects.
Key ResponsibilitiesSafety Management: Develop, implement, and maintain Health and Safety management systems across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with Irish Health and Safety legislation.Site Inspections: Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify hazards, recommend solutions, and ensure adherence to company policies.Training & Induction: Deliver effective Health and Safety training programs and site inductions to employees, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.Incident Reporting: Manage and report any accidents, incidents, or near-misses, ensuring proper investigation and follow-up actions are taken.Compliance: Keep up-to-date with regulatory changes and ensure projects meet statutory Health and Safety requirements.Collaboration: Work closely with site managers, engineers, and project teams to foster a culture of safety excellence.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections, training, audits, and incident reports for internal and external review.Qualifications & ExperienceA recognized qualification in Health and Safety.Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction industry.Strong knowledge of Irish Health and Safety regulations.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Salary & BenefitsCompetitive salary: €60,000 – €70,000.Comprehensive benefits package, including:Pension plan.Performance bonus.Private healthcare.25 days annual leave.To Apply
