Closing for Applications on 17/03/25 Summary of the Business The National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) provides asset and liability management services to the Irish Government.
It has evolved from a single function agency managing the National Debt to a manager of a complex portfolio of public assets and liabilities.
Businesses managed by the NTMA include borrowing for the Exchequer and the management of the National Debt, the State Claims Agency, the New Economy and Recovery Authority ("NewERA"), the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund, National Development Finance Agency and the NTMA Future Ireland Funds business unit with responsibility for the management of the Future Ireland Fund and Infrastructure, Climate and Nature Fund.
The NTMA also assigns staff to the National Asset Management Agency, the Strategic Banking Corporation of Ireland (SBCI) and Home Building Finance Ireland (HBFI).

The ideal candidate will be capable of handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks.
The person must be well-organised and relish the challenges inherent in supporting diverse people and culture programmes.
The ability to interact with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels sometimes under pressure, is essential.
A high level of professionalism and confidentiality/discretion is crucial for this role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail are equally important.
Main responsibilities:
Assist with projects aligned with the People strategy as needed under the direction of the CPO - taking projects from inception through to completion, ensuring on time delivery.
Draft documents which may be of a highly confidential and sensitive nature, including Board papers, EMT reports, etc Produce documents and reports, excel spreadsheets, power point presentations, letters as required.
Develop a good working knowledge HRIS, LMS and other key HR systems End to end ownership of key functional monthly meetings including scheduling, creating agendas, minute taking and follow up of open actions.
Provide confidential complex calendar management for the Chief People officer proactively identifying any potential challenges or conflicts.
Arrange internal and external meetings & events within specified budget to include booking of venue, facilities, equipment, catering, invitations & running order Assist with procurement process on an ad-hoc basis Process expenses in a timely manner Such other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time Experience / Skills required: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High standard of written and spoken English Highly competent in Microsoft Office - use of Word/PowerPoint/Excel, Power BI, Sharepoint, etc.
Flexible, able to work unsupervised Able to manage competing priorities Strong attention to detail Good co-ordination skills Preferable: 3rd level HR or Business Qualification Some experience of supporting projects / programme delivery Some experience of events organisation/co-ordination Pension Abatement If an appointee has previously been employed in the Civil or Public Service and that appointee is entitled to or in receipt of a pension from the Civil or Public Service or where a Civil/Public Service pension comes into payment during the appointee's re-employment that pension will be subject to abatement in accordance with Section 52 of the Public Service Pensions (Single Scheme and other Provisions) Act 2012.
