We are partnering with a highly reputable fuel & renewable supply company to find an experienced Marketing & Communications Manager.
Role: Marketing & Communications Manager
Location: Cork
Duration: FTC (Maternity Cover)
The Marketing and Communications Manager will be part of the company's management team, responsible for developing and supervising all marketing and communications strategies.
This individual will oversee the development of goals, strategies, and implementation plans to execute comprehensive marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities
* Deliver the 2023 marketing strategy and develop the 2024 strategy.
* Collaborate with internal departments to establish campaign objectives, complete tasks, and identify solutions.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and customers.
* Create an integrated internal and external marketing strategy to increase brand awareness.
* Work with departmental colleagues to ensure the marketing strategy aligns with business objectives and supports all business activities and departments.
* Develop joint marketing and communication activities with forecourt dealers.
* Write reports and compile statistics on activity and related analytics for senior management.
* Drive a multi-channel marketing strategy, focusing on digital and social media.
* Develop and execute a marketing and communication plan within budget.
* Deliver plans and projects in a timely manner.
* Lead and develop digital marketing, creating engaging content aligned with the marketing strategy.
* Publish high-quality content and advertising on social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn).
* Develop and prepare content for websites, press releases, and other distribution channels.
* Manage projects to ensure content is publication-ready and submitted on time.
* Implement brand guidelines across business aspects.
* Activate company sponsorships in support of relevant brands.
* Manage company CSR activities.
* Maintain and manage the company website, optimizing web communication.
* Work closely with the company's communication department to ensure alignment and coordination of communication and branding activities.
* Maintain brand assets, including design agency guidelines.
Requirements
* Degree-level qualification in a relevant field.
* Minimum 5 years' marketing experience and hands-on experience in online content management.
* Expertise across various marketing disciplines and media, with strong evidence of impact and results.
* In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or Canva, familiarity with SEO, WordPress, MailChimp, Excel, Word, Mac & Windows OS, and Photoshop.
* Experience in developing effective marketing designs.
* An excellent networker, communicator, and writer.
* Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, with experience delivering multi-faceted projects within tight timeframes.
* Strong leadership skills, confident in creating and delivering strategies.
* Ability to manage and work to budgets.
* Understanding of GDPR requirements and processes.
