Quality Inspector - County Louth.
This is a contract role of indefinite duration.
The Quality Inspector plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained throughout the production process. Responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities
* Conducting inspections in accordance with product quality plans to ensure accurate and timely recording of checks.
* Approving in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating issues to production personnel.
* Liaising with counterparts on other shifts to guarantee continuity.
* Participating in the training of personnel on quality-related issues.
* Identifying non-conformances and failures and initiating corrective actions.
* Verifying the effectiveness of corrective actions implemented.
* Contributing to continual improvement projects and teams.
* Attending meetings as required.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years' relevant industry experience in a similar role, along with experience working within an engineering environment. A diploma in Quality/Science or Engineering is highly desirable. Proficiency in precision inspection instruments, engineering drawings, and specifications is essential, as well as excellent attention to detail and verbal/written communication skills.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office software and a flexible, enthusiastic approach to work are also requirements for this position.
