We have an exciting new opportunity for an Actuarial Professional to join a global consulting leader in investments as a Pensions Actuarial Consultant. This position is based in Dublin City Centre. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years’ experience working in individual pensions, life assurance or providing financial planning advice. In this role you will be working as part of the financial planning team. This is an exciting position for a proactive private client advisor/financial planning consultant.
About the Pensions Actuarial Consultant role
Duties for the Pensions Actuarial Consultant role include (but are not limited to):
1. Advising individuals on all aspects of managing their wealth and financial planning needs.
2. Ability to develop relationships with clients and provide ongoing advice.
3. Maintaining a detailed sales pipeline while meeting sales and revenue targets.
4. Developing new business opportunities from their client base including sourcing new individual clients.
Actuarial Skills required
Candidates must ideally have experience of the following:
5. Qualified Actuary or QFA.
6. Strong understanding of pensions and investment techniques.
7. Excellent communicator with the ability to maintain strong relationships across the business.
8. Clean driving licence.
9. Sales driven with a good commercial awareness.
10. Deep understanding of pensions and investment techniques including relevant technical qualifications or knowledge.
