Senior Recruitment Consultant @ Vantage | Tech Recruiter | HR Head of IT – Permanent, South Dublin Hybrid Role Role and Responsibilities: Your main role will be to manage the IT department of an insurance business, providing an excellent level of service to the organisation in line with business needs and industry best practices.
You will plan the implementation of new solutions and provide guidance to the IT team, managed service partners, and other staff within the organisation.
What's Involved: Proven IT management experience with a strong emphasis on people management and delivering an excellent, proactive level of service to the business.
Knowledge of the insurance industry or financial services sector Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, support, and develop an IT team Strong stakeholder and communication management skills, with the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining expected levels of quality.
Experience extracting value from ERP systems in an insurance environment, especially using reporting tools to present information that supports decision-making.
Project management skills and experience using structured project management frameworks, with a track record of successful project delivery.
Good business process knowledge and proven experience in using technology to improve efficiency.
Strong vendor management and relationship management skills.
Strong understanding of INFOSEC requirements, with an emphasis on cybersecurity.
What You Need: Management experience with at least 7 years in a leadership role, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
