Job Title: National Account Manager
Our client, a leading food manufacturing business, is seeking an experienced National Account Manager to drive sales and profitability for their business.
They manufacture a market-leading brand in Ireland and several other leading brands worldwide.
This role would suit a Commercial Executive ready to step up to a NAM role or an experienced NAM looking to progress to the next level.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage price promotions and new product launches in line with agreed plans.
* Deliver accurate sales forecasts on time.
* Collaborate with supply chain and factory teams regarding forecast planning.
* Work with commercial finance and trade marketing to develop promotional plans suitable to each customer while maximizing profitability.
* Take initiative to learn from previous executions and adapt future plans based on these learnings.
* Maintain established relationships within existing accounts.
* Develop and execute Joint Business Plans with key customers.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years of sales experience in multiple retail FMCG customer management.
* Excellent presentation skills and ability to articulate product features and benefits.
* Timely and accurate reporting, showing initiative and ability to identify selling opportunities.
* Strong communication, relationship building, and negotiation skills.
* Analytical, numeracy, and excellent time management abilities.
* Organised and professional at all times.
* Enthusiastic and confident individual with high-level I.T. proficiency.
* A confident self-starter who can work on own initiative.
* An excellent team player, with a passion for customer care.
* Full Clean Driving License.
* Background in working within chilled food categories desirable.
* Degree in a business-related area (Relevant experience may qualify).
