About the Role
As a General Manager, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operational and administrative issues within the Company. This includes opening and closing the store, staff rostering, security, and achieving business targets. You will also be responsible for:
* Managing merchandising and stock levels within the store
* Analysing market trends by visiting local competitors and keeping up with media channels
* Ensuring exceptional customer service from the team
* Leading by example and maintaining a positive work environment
You will work closely with the Managing Director on operational matters and be accountable for managing profit and loss accounts, store KPIs, cash, and stock takes. If you are a strong leader with excellent customer service skills and a passion for the Heating & Plumbing trade, we want to hear from you.
About You
We are looking for someone with:
* Previous experience as a Manager or high-level Assistant Manager in the Heating & Plumbing trade
* Excellent communication, leadership, and training skills
* A strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
* A passion for technology and innovation
