Job Title: Clinical Specialist Radiographer CT
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Specialist Radiographer to join our Radiology team at {company}.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables
* Clinical Operations:
o Undertake as team leader, primary responsibility on a day-to-day basis for the CT Service and the effective utilisation of all resources allocated.
o Be accountable for the quality of the service provided, including customer service and technical aspects.
* Quality Assurance:
o Investigate and take appropriate action in accordance with hospital policy in relation to complaints, accidents and incidents.
o Ensure that all hospital policies and relevant up to date information is understood and complied with by staff.
* Radiation Safety:
o Ensure that the three principles of radiation protection, namely justification, optimisation (ALARA) and dose constraints/limits are adhered to.
o Familiar with EU Council Directive Euratom Basic safety standards as set out in current Irish legislation.
Qualifications and Experience
We require a BSc(Hons) Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent, postgraduate diploma in CT, CORU registration and minimum 6 years experience in the chosen modality or a post graduate qualification in the modality plus a minimum of 3 years experience.
Personal Competencies
All posts in Beacon Hospital require a high level of flexibility to ensure the delivery of an effective and efficient service. The post holder will be required to demonstrate flexibility as and when required by their manager or hospital management.
