The role:
You will be required to technically assess applications for radio spectrum licences, such as fixed radio link licences, and actively engage with licence applicants as part of the assessment process. You will also be required to assist colleagues on matters related to the licensing of radio spectrum as required. This role is for an initial period of 12 months to begin with.
The Offer:
Salary: €43559.72 starting salary + benefits (PAYE, paid weekly via ourselves) + 28 days holiday.
Contract Length: 12-Months with a possibility of extension.
Location: Dublin – Hybrid based (min 3 days onsite).
You must be fully clear to work in Ireland without relocation or sponsorship requirements.
Must have skills:
* At least a third-level honours degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Physics, or similar discipline.
* Proven knowledge of radiocommunication systems and radio frequency propagation.
You’ll also have:
* At least 6 to 12 months of professional work experience, ideally in the communications sector.
* You’ll have strong experience with network planning tools or similar network planning tools.
* You’ll also have a good understanding of the telecommunications market in Ireland.
* The ability to apply analytical and critical thinking techniques to solving problems quickly and effectively is essential.
